The Picassiana is the most unique bullfighting event of the year in Málaga: an artistic tribute to Pablo Picasso, the universal genius born in this city, turning the afternoon into an experience where bullfighting and art come together. Each edition, the artist behind the official poster creates a unique set design and costume inspired by Picasso’s work.
In 2026, the poster was created by Jacob Vilató, Picasso’s great-grand-nephew.
This event combines Andalusian bullfighting tradition, Malagueño art and culture, and the unique atmosphere of a historic bullring by the sea.
